How the winning run scored: Tyler Pastornicky's two-out single scored Sean Kazmar for the game-winner in the 11th inning. The G-Braves improved to 5-0 at Coolray Park after just finishing a 1-6 road trip.

At the plate: Ernesto Mejia hit his International League-leading seventh home run with one on in the third. In his first appearance during his rehab assignment, Paul Janich (shoulder) was 1-for-4 with single in the ninth.

On the mound: Gwinnett starter Daniel Rodriguez lasted just 4 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs while walking four and striking out six. But he showed marked improvement from his first start, when he yielded nine earned run in one-third of an inning against Durham.

Up next for Gwinnett: Ex-Brave Jair Jurrjens (0-1, 1.59), now in the Baltimore organization, returns to Coolray to face his old organization and Gwinnett lefty Sean Gilmartin (1-0, 3.00).
