Braves veteran pitcher Tim Hudson was injured in Wednesday night's game against the Mets in New York.

Hudson was covering first base when Mets baserunner Eric Young Jr. lunged for the base and landed on Hudson's ankle.

The pitcher crumpled to the ground and was eventually placed on a stretcher and left the field on a motorized cart.

The Mets' Young was visibly upset about the injury.

More details to come.
