Braves fans celebrate call-up of pitcher Evan Phillips

Braves fans have been anxiously awaiting the call-up of pitcher Evan Phillips from the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers.

And some of those fans took to social media after the 23-year-old reliever got the call Saturday night.

The #Braves today selected the contract of RHP Evan Phillips from Triple-A Gwinnett & placed RHP Arodys Vizcaíno on the 10-day DL, retroactive to June 21, with right shoulder inflammation. The club also designated INF Phil Gosselin for assignment. Phillips will wear No. 61.
