How the winning run scored: Down by one in the ninth, Josh Wilson and Brian Friday sandwiched walks around a fly ball out, and took third and second on Luis Durango's infield single. Durango and Friday each moved up a base when Wilson scored on a passed ball. They scored on Ernesto Mejia's line drive single to left. The inning ended on a force out hit to Bulls third baseman Brooks Conrad.

At the plate: DH Mejia was three-for-five with three RBI giving him 82 for the season.

On the mound: Starting pitcher Sean Gilmartin allowed all four Bulls runs, three earned on seven hits, three walks and one strike out in 6 2/3 innings. Reliever Andrew Russell (1-1) got the win and Anthony Varvaro got his third save.

Up next for Gwinnett: Braves host the Norfolk Tides for four games beginning Monday. Games start at 7:05 p.m.
