How the winning run scored: Second baseman Tyler Pastornicky, hit by a pitch in the third, scored what the winning run with on his first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the sixth.

At the plate: Every Brave scored except designated hitter Jose Yepez, who was 2-for-4 with a RBI, and catcher J.C. Boscan, who was 0-for-4. Five Braves had multi-hit games. The Braves and Bulls had 14 hits each. There were six home runs in the games, with all four of the Bulls' coming off Braves winning pitcher Julio Teheran.

On the mound: Teheran improved his record to 6-5 though he gave up seven runs, all earned, in five innings. Dusty Hughes pitched three scoreless innings in relief for the Braves.

Up next for Gwinnett: The Braves are off for the International League All-Star break before beginning a four-game series at Lousiville Thursday.
