The quirky actor is a huge Cubs fan. NME reported that when he wasn't cheering the Cubs' win with other fans and giving the World Series trophy a kiss, he interviewed Cubs president Theo Epstein in the locker room.

"Is there anyone you want to say hello to that you haven't thought about lately?' Murray asked Epstein.

"Yeah. You," Epstein said, spraying champagne in Murray's face.

Epstein thanked past and present Cubs players and fans.

"You guys are all world champs tonight," Epstein said. "I couldn't be happier for it."

"My mother thanks you. My father thanks you. My sisters thank you. My brothers thank you. I thank you," Murray said.
