UPDATED: John Will will start.

Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall will be active for Game 5 against the Hawks Wednesday.

Wall missed the previous three games of the Eastern Conference semifinal series with five non-displaced fractures of his left hand and wrist. He was injured during a fall in Game 1.

Wall was not listed in the starting lineup an hour before the game. However, that is subject to change. Ramon Sessions was initially listed as the starter. When the Wizards lineup was posted in the media room a half hour before the game, a blank space was left for the final starting spot. Ten minutes later, Wall was added to the starting lineup.

Wizards coach Randy Wittman called Wall a “game-time decision” before the contest and said he would warmup before a final determination on his playing status was made. Wittman said if Wall did dress, he would play. Wall went through a normal pregame warmup with no protective padding on his left hand.
