How the game was won: John Wall had 24 points and nine assists as all five Wizards starters scored in double figures in a rout of the resting Hawks. The Hawks were without all five starters as Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll and Al Horford rested and Paul Millsap remains out with a right shoulder injury. Horford and Millsap didn't make the trip. Mike Scott led the Hawks with 19 points. John Jenkins added a season-high 17 points.

Turning point: The Wizards went on a 14-4 first-quarter run to take a 19-9 lead with 3:59 remaining. They never led by less than double digits until a second-half surge got the Hawks within nine points, 101-92, with 5:03 remaining.

Number: 63.6. Wizards' shooting percentage from 3-point range in the first quarter as they made 7 of 11 from long range. The seven makes accounted for half of their total field goals in the period.

Next: The Hawks return home to host the Knicks Monday.
