Hawks center Mike Muscala, on a one-game assignment with Fort Wayne of the NBA Development League, had 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 113-96 win over Westchester Friday night.

Muscala was 4 of 13 from the field and 10 of 10 from the free-throw line in 32 minutes off the bench.

The Hawks recalled Muscala from the assignment and he will rejoin the Hawks in Houston for Saturday night’s game against the Rockets.

Hawks rookie Adreian Payne was also in D-League action Friday night and he helped Austin to its ninth straight win, a 115-105 victory over Canton. Payne started at forward and had six points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 25 minutes. He was 2 of 7 from the field.

Austin hosts Rio Grande Valley Sunday.
