Terran Petteway to play summer league with Atlanta Hawks

Terran Petteway, who went undrafted out of Nebraska, will play for the Hawks’ entry in the Las Vegas Summer League later this month.

Petteway, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard/small forward, averaged 18.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 31.7 minutes last season for Nebraska.

With the loss of DeMarre Carroll in free agency, the Hawks could have a roster spot available for a wing player.

The Las Vegas Summer League will be held July 10-20. The complete Hawks roster will be announced at a later date.
