Jeff Teague has not abandoned wearing goggles – although they sure didn’t last long in Monday’s exhibition game.

The Hawks point guard wore the sleek corrective eye wear to start the game against the Pelicans. However, within minutes he took the goggles off and played the rest of the game without them.

“I’ve got to get used to them a little bit more,” Teague said. “I couldn’t do. They were actually pretty clear it was just the comfort having never having anything on your face before. It was pretty different.”

Teague has been experimenting with the goggles and contact lenses during training camp. He finished with 11 points and three assists in 22 minutes of the 93-87 win Monday.
