SportSouth has added two more Hawks’ regular-season games to their broadcast schedule. The network will now air the Jan. 2 game against the Jazz and the March 16 game against the Kings.

That leaves three regular-season games that remain unscheduled to be televised - Dec. 7 vs. the Nuggets, Dec. 8 at the Pacers and Jan. 11 vs. the Wizards. SportSouth announced in September that it would air 75 regular-season games. ESPN will broadcast two games nationally.

The possibility remains that SportSouth could pick up one or more of the remaining games.

“We continue to explore ways to improve our partnership with the Hawks including, but not limited to, the possibility of televising additional games,” FOX Sports South and SportSouth Senior Vice President and General Manager Jeff Genthner to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

On Thursday, SportSouth and the Hawks announced a new long-term agreement that calls for all 82 regular-season games and at least three exhibition games to be broadcast beginning next season.
