It appears Tiago Splitter will return to the Hawks lineup soon – perhaps as soon as Wednesday’s game at the Mavericks.

The Hawks upgraded Splitter to probable on the team’s injury report issued late Tuesday afternoon.

Splitter has missed the past seven games with a sore right hip. The reserve center was a full participant in the past two practices, including Tuesday’s workout. Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said Splitter came out of each in good shape.

“All signs are positive right now,” Budenholzer said.

Splitter could return for Wednesday’s game at the Mavericks or Thursday’s game at the Thunder.
