How the game was won: The Sixers took advantage of sloppy fourth-quarter play by the depleted Hawks to snap a seven-game losing streak to Atlanta. Luc Mbah a Moute and Hollis Thompson each had 19 points in the win. Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 17 points.

Turning point: The Sixers started a 12-4 run with six minutes remaining that turned a three-point deficit into a five-point lead, 88-83. When Luc Mbah a Moute hit a 3-pointer with 1:05 remaining, the Sixers had a 91-84 edge.

Number: 3. Number of Hawks starters – DeMarre Carroll, Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap – that did not play for the Hawks for rest. It was the second time this season the Hawks rested three starters at the 76ers.
