Thabo Sefolosha’s return from a strained right calf muscle is imminent.

The Hawks’ guard/forward was listed as probable on the team’s injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game at the Magic.

Sefolosha has missed 23 games since being injured on Jan. 30. He started three-on-three drills last week. He took part in the team’s full workout Tuesday.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said following the workout that the team would need to see how Sefolosha responded before a final decision would be made on his playing status.

Sefolosha, a key member of the Hawks’ bench, averaged 5.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19.0 minutes in 45 games. He had missed only two games with the flu prior to the calf injury.
