Malachi Richardson, a freshman shooting guard from Syracuse, will have a pre-NBA Draft workout for the Hawks on Thursday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Richardson, 6-foot-6, projects to be a late first-round selection in the draft June 23. He was named to the ACC All-Rookie team and averaged 13.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 34.4 minutes in 37 games for Syracuse.

The Hawks also recently had Diamond Stone in for a workout, the Maryland center told the Charlotte Observer on Thursday. Stone, 6-10, worked out for the Hornets and said he previously was in Atlanta and will next travel to Phoenix. Stone, a freshman, averaged 12.4 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22.8 minutes in 34 games for Maryland.

Per team policy, the Hawks do not announce players brought in for pre-draft workouts.

The Hawks have three selections in the draft with the 21st pick in the first round and the 44th and 54th overall picks, in the second round.
