The Hawks reached an agreement on a 10-day contract with Jaylen Morris, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. The team plans to sign Morris on Wednesday.

Morris, a 6-foot-5 guard, wasn’t selected in the 2017 draft out of Molloy College of NCAA Division II. He’s played 39 games for the Hawks’ G-League affiliate in Erie, Pa., with averages of 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals in 31.4 minutes per game.

Once the Hawks sign Morris, they will have the maximum allowable two players on 10-day contracts for a roster of 14 players. They signed Antonius Cleveland to a 10-day contract Thursday.

The Hawks on Tuesday re-assigned “two-way” contract players Josh Magette and Andrew White to Erie.
