Report: Bucks to interview Mike Budenholzer among others for head coach

The Milwaukee Bucks plan to include former Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer in their coaching search, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday.

Former NBA coaches Steve Clifford, Monty Williams, David Fizdale and David Blatt were also named as candidates the Bucks plan to interview for the team’s head coaching vacancy, Wojnarowski reported.

The Bucks fired former coach Jason Kidd in January in an effort to push the Bucks out of a mid-season slump. Kidd finished his nearly four seasons with the Bucks with a 139-152 overall record.

Bucks assistant Joe Prunty was named Bucks interim head coach after  Kidd’s departure.
