The Boston Celtics on Friday introduced former Atlanta Hawks forward Al Horford, who is set to sign a four-year, $113 million deal - the biggest free-agent contract in Celtics franchise history.
During the press conference at the team's Waltham, Mass., training facility Horford received admiring compliments to his play and his understanding of "Celtics Pride."
Coach Brad Stevens said of Horford: "I think the biggest thing, and it's a credit to Al, the best thing I can say about a basketball player is he's a person that constantly enhances his teammates on the floor."
As for his reasons for leaving Atlanta after nine NBA seasons, Horford said: "It was a very difficult decision for me. "
