Kyle Korver will not play in tonight’s game against the Hornets, the second of back-to-back games, for what the Hawks termed as ankle rehabilitation.

Korver played 32 minutes in Thursday’s 112-101 win over the Knicks in New York. He finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Korver underwent ankle surgery in June after suffering a ligament damage in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals. The starting shooting guard also had offseason elbow surgery.

Thabo Sefolosha is listed as probable for tonight’s game. The guard/forward was ruled out against the Knicks for ankle rehabilitation. The Hawks are bringing Sefolosha along slowly as he returns from a broken right fibula and ligament damage in his ankle.

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer has said the team will bring both Korver and Sefolosha along slowly so they are healthy for the end of the season.

Mike Muscala has been ruled out. The center will miss his second straight game with a right ankle sprain suffered in Tuesday’s season opener.
