John Jenkins scored 25 points in an NBA Development League assignment game for Fort Wayne in a 111-93 victory over Sioux Falls Saturday night.

Jenkins, the Hawks’ first-round pick from 2012, was 10 of 19 from the field and 3 of 3 from 3-point range in 26 minutes off the bench at guard.

Adreian Payne, this year’s first round pick, finished with 10 points and nine rebounds. He was 2 of 8 from the field in 31 minutes as the starting center.

Jenkins and Payne are expected to remain with Fort Wayne for at least another week for a team that is in the midst of six games in 10 days. The Mad Ants next host Iowa on Tuesday.
