Al Horford will play and start for the Hawks in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series against the Celtics Sunday.

The center was listed as probable on the team’s injury report on Saturday with a left groin strain.

Horford said he was good to play on his way to warm up an hour and a half before game time.

“He’s had a good 24 of 48 hours and he’s feeling good,” Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “We don’t expect any problems. I think he felt a little discomfort relatively late in the fourth quarter (of Game 3) and played through it. Since then, he’s made progress. … We feel he’s in a good place.”
