The Hawks transferred guard Josh Magette to the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate, on Monday.

Magette is on a two-way contract and began the season with the Hawks. He appeared in five games and totaled five points in 19 minutes. He made a 3-pointer and two free throws. He also had three assists and a rebound.

Magette can be with the Hawks for a maximum of 45 days as a two-way player. The team can sign him to the roster should they want him to exceed that total. Magette’s NBA tenure clock began when the BayHawks opened training camp last Wednesday, meaning his NBA tenure is at five days.
