Hawks point guard Jeff Teague will participate in the Skills Challenge as part of All-Star Weekend in New York City next week.

Also competing in the Skills Challenge will be Jimmy Butlter, Trey Burke, Brandon Knight, Kyle Lowry, Isaiah Thomas, John Wall and Michael Carter-Williams. In a new bracket format to the contest, Teauge will fact Carter-Williams in a first-round matchup.

The NBA also announced the participants of the other All-Star Saturday Night Contests on Thursday. Kyle Korver, as previously reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, will compete in the 3-point contest. Competing, in first-round order, will be Wes Matthews, J.J. Redick, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Korver and Marco Belinelli. Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins will again compete in the Shooting Stars Challenge. The Slam Dunk contest participates were previously announced.

The contests will all take place at Barclays Center.

Teague was named an Eastern Conference reserve last week, earning his first All-Star selection. He will be joined by teammates Al Horford and Paul Millsap and coached by Mike Budenholzer and the Hawks staff. The game will be played Sunday night at Madison Square Garden. Dennis Schroder will play in the Rising Stars Challenge Friday.

Teague participated in the Skills Challenge as part of the 2013 All-Star Weekend in Houston.
