The Hawks announced the signing of guard Armoni Brooks on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed but it is an Exhibit 10 deal, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Brooks, 6-foot-3, played three seasons at the University of Houston. In 37 games, including 36 starts, as a junior last season, Brooks averaged 13.4 points and 6.3 rebounds. He was named All-AAC Second Team and All-AAC Tournament First Team.

The deal will allow Brooks to attend Hawks training camp with the team having the ability to sign him to their NBA G League affiliate in College Park.
