The Hawks recalled rookie Dennis Schroder from the NBA Development League Monday. In a corresponding move, the team re-assigned Jared Cunningham to the D-League.

Schroder played six games for the Hawks’ affiliate, the Bakersfield (Calif.) Jam. In six games, the point guard averaged 17.0 points, 6.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 turnovers in 34.0 minutes. Schroder will be available for tonight’s game against the Lakers.

Schroder appeared in 11 games for the Hawks before being assigned to the D-League earlier this month. He averaged 3.7 points, 2.5 assists, 1.1 rebound and 1.7 turnovers in 13.9 minutes.

It is the second D-League stint for Cunningham. He appeared in three games for the Hawks and five games for the Jam.
