Hawks Highlight: Damion Lee sinks 3-pointer against Hornets

In his second game with the Atlanta Hawks Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets, Damion Lee scored 14 points including three beyond the arc.

Lee played 26 minutes in the Hawks’ 129-117 loss and shot 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-5 beyond the arc for 14 points.

On Wednesday, the Hawks announced the signing of Lee— a former Louisville graduate transfer— to a 10-day contract after playing 38 games, including 13 starts, with the NBA G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors. In his time with Santa Cruz this season, Lee averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 29.7 minutes.
