Hawks’ second-round draft pick Isaia Cordinier is back in France and sporting a cast on his injured right wrist. The team was concerned the injury could have been a fracture during the Las Vegas Summer League earlier this month.

On Thursday, Cordinier tweeted a picture of himself wearing the cast.

The Hawks selected the 19-year-old Cordinier in the second round (No. 44) of the NBA Draft in June after he played for AS Denain Voltaire in his native France. Cordinier appeared in five games for the Hawks’ entry in the summer league. He missed the final game because of the wrist injury. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 3.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 16.6 minutes during summer league.

Cordinier will play for Antibes in the French Pro A League next season. The injury was not expected to be an issue for next season.
