Hawks vs. Celtics -- Game 7

Atlanta Hawks play the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the NBA playoffs.

The Hawks Josh Smith laces his shoes before warmups Sunday. The Hawks faced the Celtics in a seventh and deciding game in their opening round NBA playoff series.

Marvin Williams reaches for Rajon Rondo after chasing him down the floor on a fast break. Williams caught Rondo with his left arm and knocked him to the floor.

Williams wraps up Rondo on a breakaway drive to the basket. After a review by the refs, Williams was ejected.

Williams said later about what transpired: "I'm not a dirty player. I was trying to catch him with my left arm and hold him up but when he jumped, he jumped right into my arm."

Mike Bibby, acquired by the Hawks in a deadline deal with Sacramento, averaged 11.7 points and 3.3 assists in the playoffs.

Kevin Garnett slams in 2 of his 18 points in Game 7. The Celtics' forward averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the series.

The Hawks down more than 20, Josh Smith awaits to re-enter the game in the fourth quarter.

Coach Mike Woodson drove the Hawks to the playoffs in his fourth year with the team. A .451 winning percentage this season, Woodson ended the year 37-45.
