The Hawks assigned Tyler Cavanaugh and transferred Josh Magette to the Erie BayHawks, the team announced Thursday.

Cavanaugh, a rookie out of George Washington, has played in 38 games for the Hawks this season, averaging 4.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 13.4 minutes.

Magette, on a two-way contract, has played in 16 games with the Hawks and averaged 2.3 points, one rebound and 3.1 assists in 11.2 minutes.

The Erie BayHawks open NBA G League playoffs Saturday at home against Lakeland.
