How the game was won: The Hawks led from start to finish. Al Horford scored the first seven points of the game and the Hawks were efficient throughout in a complete-game victory. Eight Hawks finished with double-figures: Paul Millsap (19), Horford (19), Jeff Teague (16), Kyle Korver (12), Thabo Sefolosha (12), Shelvin Mack (12), Mike Scott (11) and Dennis Schroder (10).

Turning point: The Hawks went on a 23-8 run in the fourth quarter to take a 104-85 lead with 5:52 left after the Heat had closed to within four points. The run enabled the Hawks to regain control of a game the led by as many as 16 points in the first half. A Schroder steal and drop pass to Teague for a dunk was the exclamation point on the stretch.

Number: 60.6 — Hawks first-half shooting percentage on 20 of 33 shooting, including 7 of 14 from 3-point range. The field goal percentage and 62 first-half points both represented season-highs for any half.

Next: The Hawks continue a home-road back-to-back in Cleveland Saturday night.
