Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points for the Canton Charge in an NBA Development League assignment game loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Friday night.

Hardaway was 5 of 17 from the field and added two rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes in a start at guard.

Hawks reserve center Edy Tavares is also on assignment with the Canton Charge. He finished with four points and 12 rebounds in 24 minutes.

The two are in action again Saturday when the Canton Charge hosts the Iowa Energy.

Terran Petteway, who was in summer league and training camp with the Hawks, led the Fort Wayne Mad Ants with 36 points. The forward was 13 of 21 from the field with five rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes.
