Gonzaga’s Karnowski part of Hawks’ pre-draft workout Wednesday

The Hawks had six players in for workouts on Wednesday ahead of the NBA Draft including Gonzaga center Prezemek Karnowski.

Karnowski averaged 12.2 point and 5.8 rebounds as a senior for Gonzaga last season that including the NCAA National Championship game.

Also in for a workout were:

* Jabari Bird, the California senior shooting guard who averaged 14.1 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.

* Milton Doyle, the Loyola-Chicago senior shooting guard who averaged 15.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists last season.

* Tim Kempton, the Lehigh senior center who averaged 20.4 points and 10.3 rebounds last season.

* Reggie Upshaw, the Middle Tennessee State senior forward who averaged 14.3 points and 6.6 rebounds last season.

* Derrick White, the Colorado point guard/shooting guard who averaged 18.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists last season.

The Hawks have three selections in the NBA Draft on June 22 with picks Nos. 19, 31 and 60.
