The roll continues – in a big way.

The Hawks used a 9-0 run late in the fourth quarter to earn a 109-97 victory over the Rockets Saturday night at Philips Arena.

The Hawks (41-29) have won five straight, eight of nine and 10 of 12. Seven of their last 10 victories have come against teams with a winning record, including the Rockets. The Hawks reduced their magic number to clinch a playoff spot to eight games. They remain third in the Eastern Conference.

Al Horford finished with a team-high 22 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. came off the bench for 20 points for the Hawks.

The Hawks completed their second consecutive season sweep of the Rockets for the first time since 1991-82 and 1982-83.

The Rockets (35-35) were led by Michael Beasley, who scored 30 points off the bench, including 12 in the fourth quarter.

The Hawks next host the Wizards on Monday before a rematch in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
