The Atlanta Dream will open training camp Sunday, May 17, with some competition to fill out final roster spots.

Second-year head coach Michael Cooper will return along with five starters, including All-Star forward Angel McCoughtry, from last year's team that finished the regular season as the top seed in the Eastern Conference and reached the playoffs for a sixth consecutive season.

Among the key newcomers this season  is guard Roneeka Hodges, an 11th-year veteran who started all 34 games for Tulsa last season. Also competing for the 12th roster spot will be three draft picks, Samantha Logic, Brittany Hrynko and Lauren Okafor.

Final rosters must be set by June 4.

The Dream will open training camp with a two-a-day practice on May 17 at the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell.

The Dream's training camp will include three days of competition in Louisville, Ky., capped by the Atlanta Dream Classic May 23, a pre-season game at New York on May 27, and a scrimmage May 31 at North Atlanta High School against the Chinese National Women's Olympic Basketball Team.
