Dream exercises option on head coach Collen’s contract

The Atlanta Dream have exercised the third-year option on head coach Nicki Collen’s contract, taking her through the 2020 WNBA season.
In her first season in Atlanta, Collen led the Dream to a franchise-best 23 wins and was named the WNBA Coach of the Year. The Dream earned the No. 2 seed in the WNBA playoffs and fell one game short of a berth in the league finals.
