Hawks second-round draft pick Tyler Dorsey suffered a right ankle sprain in the second quarter and was ruled out for the rest of Monday’s 75-55 victory over the Bulls in the Las Vegas Summer League game.

Dorsey went to the ground hard after a drive to the basket and foul with less than four minutes remaining in the second quarter. He remained down until trainers could help him from the floor. Dorsey grimmaced as he was aided to the locker room area. He would later return to the bench as a spectator.

The Hawks said Dorsey is day-to-day and would not rule him out for the rest of summer league play. He finished with two points and two rebounds in his six minutes.

Dorsey recently agreed to a two-year guaranteed contract at the rookie minimum with the Hawks, meaning he will be with the team next season. The Hawk have not yet announced the deal.

In addition, Dorsey was named to the training camp roster for the Greek National Team. The camp begins on July 24 and the European Championships being Aug. 31.
