The 49-year-old Mutombo, a native of the Congo, lives in Atlanta. He made headlines this week following terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium.

Mutombo played with the Hawks from 1996-2001 in the prime of an 18-year career. The eight-time All-Star who retired in 2009 was inducted into basketball's Hall of Fame last fall.
