Hawks forward Chandler Parsons was diagnosed with a concussion and whiplash after he was involved in an automobile accident Wednesday, according to the team. The accident occurred following practice.

Parsons will enter the NBA’s concussion protocol and won’t travel with the Hawks for Friday’s game at the Spurs. His status will be updated.

Parsons has appeared in just five games this season. He has not played in the past eight games and has been listed as inactive for six on them.
