NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant played his final game in April after 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers.

On Wednesday he announced he'll be a dad again. On Thursday, he was covered in gold slime ... and it was awesome.

Bryant was one of many sports stars being honored at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in Westwood, Calif. Most received the epic green slime that dates back to the classic show "You Can't Do That On Television."
