The Hawks announced the signing of Justin Holiday Thursday, a day after agreeing to a two-year fully guaranteed contract with the unrestricted free agent.

The guard/small forward has appeared in 68 NBA games, including 59 games last season for the NBA Champion Warriors.

“Justin’s abilities on both ends of the court excited us as we looked to add depth on the wing,” Hawks president of basketball operations and head coach Mike Budenholzer said in a statement. “His combination of length and versatility with a great work ethic give him a chance to be a solid contributor on the court, and his experience on a championship team this past season and his high-character will be great positives for our locker room.”

Holiday, 26, averaged 4.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in 11.1 minutes last season with the Warriors. He also played in five postseason games.

Holiday will wear No. 7.
