Just more than 12 hours after draft picks De’Andre Hunter and Bruno Fernando officially joined the Hawks, the expectation is that the rookies will play in today’s Las Vegas Summer League game.

The Hawks play the Timberwolves at 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

The Hawks acquired Hunter, the No. 4 overall pick, and Fernando, the No. 34 overall pick, in draft night trades. The deals could not be official until the end of the NBA moratorium on Saturday and finally got league approval following the completion of the Lakers-Pelicans trade for Anthony Davis early Sunday morning.

Hunter and Fernando signed their rookie contracts on Sunday.

The two players will be introduced at a press conference in Las Vegas following the game at 8:30 p.m.
