Outfielder-turned-broadcaster Jeff Francoeur will call playoff games on national TV, but not the Braves-Cardinals series.

The broadcast team for that National League Division Series on TBS will be play-by-play announcer Brian Anderson, analyst Ron Darling and reporter Lauren Shehadi. The series opens Thursday at SunTrust Park.

Francoeur will serve as analyst for the other NLDS, also on TBS, between the Dodgers and the winner of the Nationals-Brewers wild-card game.  He’ll work with Ernie Johnson (play-by-play) and Alex Chappell (reporter) on that series, which opens Thursday in Los Angeles.

Francoeur, who took over this season as the lead analyst for regular-season Braves games on Fox Sports South/Southeast, will join Johnson, Darling and Shehadi on the TBS telecast of the wild-card game at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Looking ahead to the NL Championship Series, beginning Oct. 11 on TBS, that series will be called by Anderson and Darling, with Shehadi reporting.

Thursday’s opener of the Braves-Cardinals series will begin at 5:02 p.m. if Washington wins the wild-card game or 6:02 p.m. if Milwaukee wins it. Braves-Cardinals Game 2 is set for 4:37 p.m. Friday, also at SunTrust Park.

Fox Sports South/Southeast won’t televise Braves games during the playoffs, but plans a postgame show, hosted by Chip Caray, at the conclusion of each game.
