Where: Turner Field

When: 7:10 p.m.

TV; radio: SPSO; 680, 93.7, 106.7

Probable starting pitchers: Braves RH Williams Perez (4-1, 4.14) vs. LH Madison Bumgarner (11-6, 3.39)

What's new: Adonis Garcia hit three home runs in his first 11 games in the big leagues after hitting just three home runs in 86 games for Triple-A Gwinnett. All three have gone to the opposite field and all three have given the Braves a lead, including Monday night's two-run walk-off job in the 12th against the Giants to complete a six-run comeback. A.J. Pierzynski played the hero Monday too, with a game-tying two-run homer in the ninth and continues to swing a hot bat. He entered Tuesday on a nine-game hitting streak, during which he was hitting .459 (17-for-37) with a double, a homer and four RBIs. The Braves will have to fend without Freddie Freeman again after he returned to the disabled list after only 10 games active, this time with a strained oblique. The Braves hit just .234 in 31 games Freeman missed while going 13-18 and averaging 2.68 runs. The Braves hit .254 in the nine games he started during his return, averaging 3.11 runs per game and going 3-6.
