The Astros will receive a record $438,901.57 for a full winners share after capturing the 2017 World Series. It’s more than $50,000 more than the previous record, received by the 2014 Giants.

Teams decide who gets a full, or less, share from the players, management and support personnel.

The total figure that playoff teams split comes from a percentages of the gate from each round of postseason games.
