Tuesday's workout at Braves training camp

Technically, Tuesday's workout at the Braves' Lake Buena Vista facility in Florida was the last for just pitchers and catchers. However, a slew of regular players were on hand. Closer Mike Gonzalez limbers up in the outfield.

The team's biggest offseason acquisition, starting pitcher Derek Lowe.

Veteran pitcher Buddy Carlyle, who has played in the Japanese league, gives the traditional Japanese greeting to Kawakami. In this case, the services of Kawakami's interpreter, Daichi Takasue (left), weren't needed.

Peter Moylan is coming off of major surgery on his throwing arm.

Closer Gonzalez has battled arm injuries the past two seasons, but came into camp saying he was fully recovered.

Left-handed pitcher Eric O'Flaherty is battling for a roster spot.

Utility player Omar Infante, who is in camp early, limbers up. Position players don't have to work out officially until Wednesday.

Right fielder Jeff Francoeur climbs the wall while practicing catching fly balls. Francoeur, who has an arbitration hearing on Friday against the Braves, has been working out at the facility since it opened over the weekend.
