Braves prospect Dansby Swanson has continued his hot pace at the plate since his promotion to Double-A Mississippi. In fact, he was 1-for-3 on Thursday night, but his batting average fell to .450.

Swanson is 9-for-20 in five games for the M-Braves. He has a hit in each game and multiple hits in two of them. His big night so far came Wednesday, when he was 4-for-5 with two runs scored.

On Thursday, he hit a double and walked twice, and he scored two runs. At Mississippi, Swanson has a .522 on-base percentage and a 1.272 OPS. He also has three doubles and six RBIs.

Before his promotion April 30, Swanson hit .333 with a .441 OBP and a .967 OPS for high-A Carolina.

Meanwhile, the other top Braves shortstop prospect, Ozzie Albies, has struggled to adapt to Triple-A pitching since his promotion to Gwinnett on April 30.

In five games, Albies is 2-for-22 (.091), but he has two RBIs.
