How the winning run scored: Brandon Snyder gave Pawtucket a 10-2 lead with a one-out double to left in the fourth inning on Thursday.

At the plate: The teams combined for 23 runs and 28 hits. Eight batters walked and four reached on errors. Jason Heyward on a rehab assignment from the Atlanta Braves, was 0-for-5. He struck out three times, grounded out to second, walked and popped up to the catcher for the final out of the game. Two G-Braves had three hits: Alden Carrithers (3-for-3, two runs scored) and Paul Janish (3-for-5, two doubles and two runs scored). Matt Kennelly (2-for-4) drove in four runs, including a two-run homer off starter Steven Wright.

On the mound: G-Braves starter Roman Colon (0-2) lasted three innings, allowing five runs on six hits. Cole McCurry followed Colon and gave up five runs on six hits in one inning.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (12-23) begin a four-game series, and an eight-game trip, at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
