A bevy of moves to bolster the farm system haven't given Vegas much hope for a Braves' postseason run, but neither have most of their rivals in the NL East.

Fredi Gonzalez, whose Braves won 96 games and a division title in 2013, lost their way in 2014 finishing out of the playoffs on their way to their third losing season (79-83) since 1990. A bevy of moves to bolster the farm system haven't given Vegas much hope for a Braves' postseason run, but neither have most of their rivals in the NL East.

With no more Jason Heyward, Justin Upton, or Evan Gattis, first baseman Freddie Freeman remains the only Brave in the lineup to hit more than 15 home runs last season. A revamped rotation and bullpen will be key for Atlanta in 2015, when they face 33-to-1 odds to win the World Series.

The Phillies (a long shot at 100-to-1 to win World Series in 2015) finished the season 73-89 and dead last in the East. The team said goodbye to its all-time hits leader (Jimmy Rollins) and may be looking to move slugger Ryan Howard.

The odds the New York Mets don't finish below .500 for the sixth straight year and win a World Series are stacked at 33-to-1.

The Marlins, who finished 77-85 last season, have tried to build a lineup around promising outfielder Giancarlo Stanton. Like the Braves, Mets and Phillies, they have long odds (33-to-1) to win another World Series title.

The additions of Josh Donaldson, Russell Martin and Michael Saunders to an offense that already featured Jose Reyes, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion should make Toronto's lineup one of the most potent ones in baseball and 18-to-1 favorites to win it all.

The San Francisco Giants aren't darlings to repeat as World Series champs (18-to-1 odds) despite a roster that includes Series MVP Madison Bumgarner, Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Brandon Belt and free agent Aramis Ramirez.

The Mariners (87-75 in 2014) came close to postseason berth last season. Perennial Cy Young contender Felix Hernandez and sluggers Robinson Cano and Logan Morrison will be counted on the carry Seattle (16-to-1 odds) to a World Series.

The Tigers have been class of the AL Central for the past five seasons, but the loss of Max Scherzer and an aging lineup that includes Justin Verlander and Miguel Cabrera is a middle of the road favorite at 14-to-1 odds to win World Series.

6. St. Louis Cardinals. Team value: $1.4 bil.Revenue: $294 mil.Operating income: $73.6 mil.

The Los Angeles Angels finished the regular season with baseball's best record 98-64 last season. A disappointing postseason that was ended by the charmed Kansas City Royals, puts the Angels at 12-to-1 odds to win it all in 2015.

Forget that David Ortiz and the Red Sox finished dead last in the AL East with a 71-91 last season. Hope is high in Boston (12-to-1 odds) that a young nucleus - and the key free agent additions of Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval - can bring back postseason glory to New England.

A new manager Joe Maddon; an ace Jon Lester; and a trio of young hitters have revived hopes on the North Side of Chicago. The Cubs, who haven't made the playoffs since 2008 - much less advanced in a decade - are in a pressure test at 12-to-1 odds to win the World Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, who finished atop the N.L. with a 94-68 record, added Jimmy Rollins while subtracting Matt Kemp in the offseason. Clayton Kershaw (left) remains a dominant figure a team - facing 8-to-1 odds to win the title - to make another run in 2015.

The acquisition of former Cy Young winner Max Scherzer and the long-lived aspirations of Bryce Harper (right) have bolstered the Nationals into World Series favorites. The Nationals, who finished 96-66 and won the NL East, are the odds on favorites at 6-to-1 to win it all.
