Braves shortstop prospect Ozzie Albies has surged of late, beginning with a 2-for-5 night on Memorial Day.

In his past 10 games for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves, Albies has hit .282 (11-for-39) with four RBIs and four runs scored. He has walked five times and struck out five times in those games.

The results are even better for the past five games, in which Albies has hit .389 (7-for-18) to raise his average 20 points from .223 on June 4 to .243 five days later.

Albies was 1-for-3 with two stolen bases in the G-Braves’ 2-1 victory Thursday night.
